Adopt a Student

The goal Adopt a Student is to connect college students who are away from home with families in the church that are willing to love and disciple them. This could include inviting them to dinner once or twice a month, making a care package for them during finals, or just communicating with them on a weekly basis to ensure that their walks with Christ are growing throughout their college years. College years can be some of the most moldable years of a person’s life, and discipleship can help a student grow spiritually. Thank you for being willing to join in this mission of showing Christ’s love to college students and pushing them to walk closer to Jesus Christ.

The purpose of the Jefferson College Ministry is to connect young adults to other believers and provide opportunities for discipleship, Bible study, fellowship and missions. We have events all throughout the year that target these disciplines. Our Connection Group on Sunday morning at 9:15 am in Room 201 is a comfortable time of discussion based Bible study so that students are engaged in learning more about God's word and who God has called us to be. We strive to teach the Word of God with humility and integrity. We also have Bible Study every Wednesday night in Room 201 from 6-7 pm. If you are new to Jefferson, we would love to have you join us and to connect with you. Check us out on facebook.
